In a bid to provide better after-sales service to its customers in India, Lenovo has inaugurated fully owned and operated service centres in New Delhi and Bangalore. As per the brand, these will be well-equipped service centres with highly trained staff to service and address desktop, notebook and tablet-related queries.
The new service centres are designed to address specific consumer queries and provide assistance to products that are beyond warranty. Users can register their complaint online at the service centre and track it in real time via an online queue management system. Soon, the company will also be offering Lenovo accessories and warranty upgrades at these centres.
In addition to the new service centres, the brand has also launched a new app called Lencare for Android devices. It allows users to register their product, check their service order, schedule a call back and find a carry-in Lenovo authorised service centre close to their locality. The app also comes with a handful of videos, which help users to troubleshoot their devices on their own.
India is one of the first countries in the Asia-Pacific region to have Lenovo-owned and operated service centres. These centres are located at Hemakunt Towers, Nehru Place in Delhi, and at Aurobindo Marg, 4th T block, Jayanagar, Bangalore. The company is planning to launch more wholly-owned service centres across the country in the coming months.
