Micromax’s subsidiary YU Televentures has been teasing its upcoming smartphone, the Yutopia, for a few weeks now. Now the company has sent out invites for a press event on December 7th for the launch of the Yutopia. As per the reports, it will be the brand’s first flagship, and may arrive in two variants.
So far, the company’s tweets have confirmed that the Yutopia will offer 32GB of internal memory. It will be the first smartphone from YU to feature a QHD display and a metal body. The phone will also support Qualcomm’s Quick Charge feature.
As per the leaks, the Yutopia will offer a 5.2-inch display, and will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, coupled with a meaty 4GB of RAM. It’s expected to run Cyanogen OS based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The second variant will allegedly offer a full HD display and 3GB of RAM.
