Honor 7 starts receiving Android Marshmallow OTA update in India

Honor recently released an enhanced version of the Honor 7 smartphone in China running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Now the company has released the Marshmallow update for the earlier Honor 7 model in India. The update is available for all users who register for the OTA firmware update.

All Honor 7 (review | tips and tricks) users in India will first need to register for the update by providing their device IMEI number and current software version. After the registration, the over-the-air update will be released to their device within 24 to 48 hours from the time of registration. The company is yet to release the change-log of the Android Marshmallow update for the device.
